Children are introduced to music fundamentals through singing and exploration of keyboard/piano, violin, xylophone and percussion instruments. Classical masterpieces, traditional children’s songs, world music and folk songs are used to explore musical concepts such as melody, phrasing, rhythm, tempo and dynamics.
