Comedian Kathy Griffin returns to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Friday, August 13 at 8 pm for the first time since her two sold-out performances in 2009.

Emmy award winning Chicago native, Kathy Griffin, a multi-faceted performer with a rapid fire wit, is probably best known for her reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List, which debuted on Bravo to rave reviews in 2005. The first three seasons of My Life On The D-List were each nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program. Kathy took home the award in 2007 and 2008. The show premieres for its fifth season tomorrow night, June 15 and her new comedy special Kathy Griffin Does The Bible Belt premiered last week. Kathy was also nominarted for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 2008 and 2009.
